New Desktop Background

So I have been using this background from Interface Lift as my desktop background for a while, and I really like it, but today I saw this article via the New Shelton Wet/Dry that had some really interesting lips photos. Well if there are two awesome things, they probably look even cooler as one amazing thing so I made this desktop background.



I have a weird dual screen setup so thats why it looks like that. Anyways, if you like it feel free to use it.

So this band Buffalo Gun is having a cd release party tonight. They gave me a tshirt last night after hearing a song of mine so wanted to say thanks in the form of a doodle. Thanks for the shirt and sorry that I couldn't make it tonight. Here is a buffalo holding a gun.

Here is the second doodle I've made on my itouch. I actually had a lot of fun drawing this guy. I thought about putting yellow rain boots on him as well but I liked his little feet so much I decided against it.

So I won an itouch at Halloween and there is this fun app where you can sketch using the touch screen. Anyways, here is my first one. Maybe I'll get more done with my doodles already in digital form. Well, here's to a new era.

And look...it kind of sucks. Not even a doodle. What is wrong with me. Well its been a little while, I've been pretty busy. Right now I am uploading some of my (really shoddily recorded) music to MySpace so if you guys ever have a brinner craving or anything you could get your fix. Haiku Journal

So I haven't really been posting a lot recently but I have been working on things. These have mostly been big things so thats why I don't have a lot of doodles lately.

Anyways, they will be posted as they are finished but until then, recently I have been keeping a haiku journal, sort of to capture small moments in my day to day life as a freeze frame of sorts. So anyways, I thought I would catch you up and then keep posting them on here as they come. I hope you like them and as I post new ones I might embelish a little bit on the feelings behind some of them, but I figure since all of these are coming at once it might be a little overwhealming to put all of that. So, I hope you enjoy.

So I am actually really proud of this. It may remind you of this one I did a long time ago, and thats because it was inspired by that one. I wanted to do something like it, but much larger. Oh, so you are going to read this? Fair enough. There are no pictures...just saying

So tonight at Natura someone asked me to draw them something. And then they said they were going to grab a tea and be right back. And five to ten minutes later when I finished it they were gone. They left. I stopped drawing what I was drawing, and drew them what they asked for, and they walked out on me. It was rather disheartening. I am too tired to do so now but maybe tomorrow I will scan in what I drew for her. It was just her name, Kristen, but I spelled it Kris10 because I am clever like that and I dated a Kristen who did that and I always thought it was clever.

Anyways, I was very disappointed because I was so pleased with how it came out. Mark told me I should just give it to this guy that new her but heck no, she gets no drawing now... Thats pretty much the end of that.

While I am typing, something I don't really do very often, usually I just let my doodles speak for themselves, I may as well ramble on other topics.

So some other stuff is going on that kind of sucks so bad I don't really want to talk about it except to ask, is anyone looking for a new place? Jerry and I need a new roommate ASAP.

In other news, I want to say thank you to all of the people in my life. You guys are awesome and you really mean the world to me, particularly if you read to this here. There is someone from Maryland actually who keeps coming here to the site and I don't know anyone from Maryland as far as I know, so if you are in Maryland leave a comment on this post letting me know who you are. Thanks for visiting my site all the time btw. I appreciate it.

In further other news.. I'm still kind of frustrated with life recently. It seems like everyone around me either has someone special or doesn't want someone special or doesn't care and has one anyways. Every one I meet I immediately become friends with, but never more than that. I want to mean something to someone. ah well.. so it goes. It will happen when it happens but it just seems like I've been getting slapped in the face with my single status by the universe a lot recently...and so as I told Olivia earlier... I sigh.
