Cliffhanger

My favorite is the guy at the very bottom.

Tent City Watercolor Series

So for every day of Tent City I painted a watercolor picture. So here they are:

Day 1 - Sunday

Day 2 - Monday
No line in this painting intersects any other

Day 3 - Tuesday
I really like both robots and bees

Day 4 - Wednesday
I had no idea what was going to happen when I started drawing this. It didn't out too bad for being 100% random flow of lines with zero planning.

Day 5 - Thursday
This one isn't done yet. It started raining while I was painting it. I will finish it later and update it then.

I hope you enjoy these paintings as much as I enjoyed painting them.

Tent City

Well Tent City has been awesome so far. Sadly today I will not be spending the night, but I camped out since Sunday so that's pretty spectacular. Last night I made a ton of doodles for people and linked them up to this site, so if you are one of them you should definitely hit me up and leave a comment on here. We should all keep in touch.

Oh and also, if you have Tent City pictures or anything else feel free to e-mail them to me at mindlessphilosophy@gmail.com.

Tomorrow I head out for Gainesville to hit up the renaissance festival out there with Kelly and Brian. Hopefully I will be inspired enough (and have the necessary energy) to make another suit of cardboard armor, and if that does happen you can expect pictures here. I guess I will leave it at that. Have a good weekend everyone.

Rain Cloud and Fat Animals!

So I totally drew this during Matrix and Linear and gave it to Amanda, but I liked the idea so much that I drew it again in Processes and added the rainbow lines. I think I might color this if I ever have time.

Oh and for your amusement, here are some tubby animals (:

Curious Robots

I want a robot I can take on walks...

Killer Penguin

So this is my response to a wonderful comment on the previous post:
"...And Kelly, I love you for many reasons, but one of them is that you leave me comments on here. If only other members of the human race could be as awesome as you are already. So to Kelly, I dedicate the next post I make, which will be a killer penguin."
So here you have it, Killer Penguin followed by some lovely hibiscus flowers to add to the awesome.

And to the rest of you punks, try to be more like Kelly, for she is great and mighty and full of win! (And Brian too)

Class Notebook 2

Here are the rest of the doodles I had in that notebook.

To kick things off, a pleasant little comic:

That was lovely! Don't you think?

P.S. You can click on the ones that are clickable to make them bigger! I did this because I love you.

Class Notebook

Since the last one was so dissapointing and me camping and working on that painting took away from major doodle time, here are some sketches from my class notebook from last year. Possibly why I totally sucked it up in Matrix and Linear Algebra last term but lets not talk about that...

Ampy500:

He wants to eat your face...in case you didn't get that.

Homeless Turtle:

Penguin Suit

My sharpie died so this is in pencil. I know its lame.

Finished!

So I finally finished this. Here is just a photo, I will scan it in once the paint dries.

And here it is:

I'm really happy with how this came out. I haven't used watercolors for a long time and I really enjoyed playing with them.

Getting Better

The teeth still make me sad face, but drawing using the picture as a reference and in pencil greatly improved this as opposed to from memory and with pen as the last one was.

Viewer Discretion

Warning: Due to extreme violence and chance of death, viewer discretion is advised.

Refuelling

While I sat in Perkins waiting for Kristina to get to brunch and drawing this guy the lady behind me was telling her friend about how someone she knew pistol whipped a cop with his own gun and how she had a new found respect for the man who was now doing some jail time. People worry me.

This is a Really Bad Drawing

But I thought I would throw it up here anyways. Hopefully Amber will forgive me for mutilating her beautiful smile...I'm really bad at drawing teeth. Don't look at them! ):

Anyways, maybe I will attempt to actually do her justice later.

Sleepy Time

Is good time.

Revenge

It is sweet

The Comeback Kid

Retort is a good word.

What he should have said is, "Why hasn't the coast guard rescued your mom off that beach yet?"

Nature Lover

I am bad at drawing squirrels.

Fender Bender

The "T-REX" license plate certainly should have been enough warning.

The Katate Kid

I mean Penguin!

Kelly wanted me to do something inspired by her, and while she loves penguins and kicks butt I am not really happy about how this turned out. Well whatever, enjoy, or not.

Sharpie Tattoo Series 1

This is a sharpie tattoo I did while I was bored yesterday. I've done many of these in the past and I think I am going to make a gallery of them on here. I may have to go find some pics of some old ones and put them up too.

As a side note, I'm not really sure what the design is or what it was inspired by, but looking at it I get an Egyptian feel. I just started drawing lines...

Moose Envy

I wish I was a moose too.

Cupcakes

Here are two pictures that depict the life of a delicious cupcake. It was good. Oh so good.

Inspired by Amber Prosser whos love of cupcakes I can certianly relate to. Also you may have noticed that the images come together on all sides, making it possible for this to become an awesome desktop background. Click below to download it.

"C" Legs

Such a beautiful day to go sailing. I mean, look at all those Ms in the sky!

</3

Man that is one sad robot. I wonder who the flowers were for...

You Jerk

In other news, I know there are two left hands here... just pretend I meant to make two different people involved in this grenade's death - or it could be a mutant! Just move along why don't ya?

I Don't Know

What this is

Any guesses?

Oh and as you can see I am at least in working order now with my desktop.

Reformating

Okay, so I am not really into BDSM so when some shortcuts to such high brow websites started appearing on my desktop, you can imagine my concern. Low and behold, even one as incredible as I can get a virus, and I did, and now it is gone because I just killed my hard drive to get rid of it. Yay. Anyways, the point of all of this is right now I am downloading SP2 and I still need to install my sound drivers and the scanner driver and stuff, so although I have things to show you I cant actually show you them...yet.

Now you may wonder, "Matt, why don't you just hop on your laptop and scan things in that way. Surely you have your image editing software already installed on it!" And you would be correct in that assumption. The only problem is that my power cord for my laptop died and so did the battery and so I am saddened. Such are my recent computer woes.

Anyways, Ill have something new here tomorrow maybe.

Your Inconvenience is My Entertainment

Gosh I just don't know. Good point.
