This is for my mom, who is a ballerina.

And this one is for my uncle Roy, who makes parafoils (www.parafoils.com)

  2. Wowzers Matthew! Major-Sfumato-Kudos – (root word "fumare," means to "go up in smoke, evaporate") The ability to embrace the unknown – the key to discover one 's creative abilities.

Ya know, Ah... Da Vinci would take 6 to 18 sometimes 24 months just to sketch a study of a theme that he was planing to paint. The actual painting of his commissioned work, took him several years or more to complete... some he never finished. If you could jet back in time 500 years, I think Leonardo would be impressed with your gift of Linear Perspective and the Visual Angles & Dimensions that you select to draw from. If he knew you were cranking out a couple of these a day... He may have layed down his brush, never to paint again... as did his Mentor, Andrea del Verrocchio... when he had seen that his pupil's skill had far surpassed his own.
Out of several specialized lines of work you could choose between and excel in... I think it is safe to say, that you could add to the list... Professional Illustrator/Sketch Artist, that any Advertising Agency or Publisher, would be proud to have access to.

Keep on Sketching Man! It gives us all something a whole lot more positive to focus on, then anything going on in the news these days.

  3. Woooweeee!
"You know what would be stupenduhspec- tacularatastical?" A bunch more oldie kites of of every description, the proverbial "kite eating tree" enjoying it's lunch, while above parafoils with angelic wings, big noble ones and little baby ones flying up toward the sun with Icaris and his son.
I went trackin' into the other pages, Mathew, feeling a big smile growing on my face---which remained throughout the afternoon with only just a smidgin of straightening out (I carefully saved some pages of drawings, planning to parcel your good medicine out for when its 'specially needed to get the corners of my mouth moving back upwards in the right direction shooting for the sky).

A friend of your Uncle Roy with whom you share surprising levels of talent and good will,
    Tal Streeter
